In this post, I want to share a really special experience with you.
I had the chance to speak at the DataHack Summit 2025 in Bengaluru, held from August 20th to 23rd.
It was my very first time speaking at an event of this scale, and honestly … it’s not something I could just keep to myself.
The trip was intense, full of learnings and memorable moments.
So I thought I’d take you along with me, day by day: from landing in India on August 19th to flying back on the 24th.

🛬 August 19 - Arrival in Bengaluru
Can you imagine running into Joshua Starmer (the brilliant mind behind StatQuest) in an elevator?
Well, that’s exactly what happened to me on the very day I arrived at the hotel.
And the best part?
He joined Alessandro Romano and me on a trip into the heart of Bengauru, giving us a little tour of the city.
💡 Fun fact: Alessandro and I first met on the flight from Europe to Bengaluru, and he ended up being my travel companion for the whole trip! Stay tuned, as we might have something cooking together soon … 😉

August 20 - DHS begins
The day had finally arrived. The event we were all here for.
I got the chance to meet, in person, some incredible figures I’ve admired for a long time: Luis Serrano (from Serrano Academy) and the brilliant Dipanjan Sarkar, who delivered an outstanding talk on Building Effective Agentic AI Systems.
The whole day was packed with inspiring conversations, insightful talks, and yes… plenty of selfies 📸.
And then came dinner, and honestly, nothing beats an Indian buffet!
The amount of dishes was just crazy.
Even better, we had the perfect guide in Arun Prakash Asokan, who not only gave a fantastic session on Agentic Knowledge Augmented Generation (Agentic KAG) earlier that day, but also introduced us to the best of Indian cuisine.
August 21 - My Hack Session
I was so nervous about this … , I could barely sleep the night before!
My talk was titled Beyond PoCs: Building Real-World Agentic Systems.
And can you guess what I shared? One of the projects I’ve already talked about here…

I thought it would be amazing to actually showcase the Agent Simulation I built with Paul Iusztin live on stage. So that’s exactly what I did.
Let me tell you something, recording a demo alone in your room for YouTube is way easier than facing a full audience like this one …
But the Hack Session went really well.
People were super excited about PhiloAgents, and I was just as excited to dive into the discussions around it.
That night, for the first time in days, I finally managed to get some proper sleep 😅.
August 22 - More amazing talks
After a good night’s sleep, I felt recharged and ready to dive back in, and I ended up attending what I’d call one of the best sessions of the entire conference.
It was the absolute masterclass by Luis Serrano, where he broke down Attention Mechanisms the way Feynman explained Physics: pure intuition, crystal-clear didactics, tons of examples, and even some funny twists along the way.
At one point, there was even a crossover with Joshua’s StatSquatch and Normalsaurus! 🤣
That evening, though, I decided to call it an early night and head back to my room.
I had a workshop to deliver the next day, and I knew it was going to be a tough one … so preparation was key.
August 23 - My Workshop
And then came the last day … the day of the workshop.
Eight hours. Yes, you read that right … 8 HOURS! 😅
The topic? Building a MultiModal Agent connected to Telegram.
I’ll admit, I was a little nervous at first. Would it be too technical? Too difficult? How would people react?
Turns out, I had nothing to worry about.
The amazing community of builders absolutely crushed it. By the end, everyone had their very own Telegram Agent running on their phones.
And the cherry on top?
They all walked away with a certificate to celebrate it! 🎉
🛫 August 24 - Goodbye, Bengaluru
On August 24th, at 3 AM, I boarded my flight back from Bengaluru to Frankfurt.
After a 4-hour layover, I hopped on another plane to Madrid … and after yet another 4-hour layover, I finally made it home to Almería.
It was a pretty intense travel day, but honestly?
Totally worth it.
And if I get the chance to go again next year … you can bet I’ll be there!
